CRIME: WALLET THEFT AT CIRCLE K STORE
CRIME SCENE: 7250 US HWY 98 NORTH, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE: #24-49217
 
The suspect seen here in video surveillance lied to the Circle K store clerk and told her that the wallet that was left behind by another customer, was his. This occurred on December 7, 2024, around 12:45 p.m. When the victim realized his wallet was stolen, he closed his bank and credit card accounts, but not before the suspect attempted to charge over $500.00 worth of merchandise on Temu.com.
 
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue UNC shirt with "23" on it, gray denim pants, and sneakers.
